Park Time

Today has been a beautiful sunny 75 degree day. I decided to take Lizzy and Travis to the park with 2 of their friends. They had so much fun. In the first 2 picture I tried to get pictures of Travis sliding down. You can either see his feet or his head. I didn't get his very well.

School Art and Singing Show

Lizzy had another singing performance at school. She did a great job. Then we went to look at the art work that she has done during the school year.

Easter 2011

The kids had a full day of Easter Egg hunts this year. They started at Tauphaus Park. There were tons of eggs and the kids had to go to their age group to hunt. Both Lizzy and Travis were in the same group. They went with all the 3 and 4 year olds. Lizzy and Travis had a full basket of eggs. They got a few free kids dinners at Sizzler and lots of certificates for Blast Off. The Easter Bunny even come to the park. The kids had fun seeing the Easter bunny.





Our next stop was going to the church for a Primary Easter Egg hunt. They let the younger kids go first and find 9 eggs each. Then the older kids got to go look. Travis was super fast getting his 9 eggs. It took him about a minute. Lizzy took her time looking for eggs. Then the kids got to decorate some cookies with colored frosting. Lizzy ate 3 cookies and Travis ate 2.

Our last egg hunt on Saturday was at Grandma and Grandpa Turner's house. The kids had fun finding 20 eggs each. Then we had dinner and just relaxed the rest of the night.





Sunday morning the Easter Bunny left a basket full of goodies for the kids. They had fun looking through them. Then I hid eggs in their bedroom. The kids had fun finding eggs again.

Barnes & Noble Performance

Lizzy's school had a fundraiser for their school at Barnes & Noble. A percentage of the book sales for that day was given to the school to purchase books. Lizzy's preschool and Kindergarten classes sang some songs in the store.

You have to turn up the volume to hear the kids sing. I guess I was a little too far away.

Influenza A is here

So our home has been hit with Influenza A. Eric got sick with it the evening that we got home from our anniversary trip to Utah. He was sick for 2 weeks. Travis got sick throwing up and a fever that same night and lasted for 4 days. Lizzy got a fever that same night too and lasted for 2 days. I thought that I was going to be safe and then I got Influenza A a week and a half later. I went to the doctor and got Tamflu so I was only sick for 1 week. I'm hoping that we don't get sick anymore this year.

7th Anniversary

Today is our 7th anniversary. Time seems to fly. I got Eric some good seats for a Jazz game in Salt Lake City. We went down and watched the game. We had seats that were pretty close to the court. Then we stayed at the Plaza Hotel. It was nice to get away without the kids. Today we drove home and it was nice to see Lizzy and Travis.

My birthday

Yesterday was my 34th birthday. I can't believe that I am that old. Lizzy was so excited to give me my present that she did so on Saturday. She went to the florists with Dad and picked out flowers to put in a vase. She also got me a duck stuffed animal. A while later Lizzy told me what Travis got me for my birthday so they brought it in. He got me a craft table that folds up. I'm really excited to use it. Eric got me a dome for my San Diego Temple. I have wanted one since we got married. It was a fun and relaxing day.
